Ai Art. Beat the Bot.

Personally I am ignorant about the whole AI thing. My current stance is simple, it is a great tool to utilize for those on a limited budget, as well as those who are trying out concepts before commissioning an artist to finalize it. I do not like those who use AI and try to pass it as something they fully did, now if they claim its their AI art, I am fine with it. As some one who is not really a cultured person, as well as some one who enjoys the simple things in life, I find for 22 dollars a month, I have a personal assistant as well as a digital artist in my pocket to help me prototype my concepts at little cost. Now that is said and done, let me now discuss my planned usage of AI art, as well as how I wish to utilize it as a social media draw, as well as a fun little challenge for anyone interested.

How I am currently planning on using AI art, for 2025 and probably 2026, my website and social media, will have AI art as much as I can. First, I have a limited budget, and have no clue on what type of logo I want to use. I can pay people to generate art over and over again, but until I find a direction I feel comfortable with, the plan is to utilize what I can. Secondly, I want to start making tokens, for sale, and at first it will only be AI art. I have some artist friends that may join in and have their own series tokens. I am honestly curious to see what actually sales better when both are the same price point. With out doing a detailed cost breakdown, my rough plans have non foil custom tokens at 2.50 and 5 for foil. I plan to use MPC as my token maker, as well as a shopify store, on a subdomain of this website as my POS (point of sale).

As I previously mentioned out of my curiosity of what would be chosen AI art, or human art, I plan to start a monthly Beat the Bot competition. The monthly AI art series token, as well as the winner (or runner up of the bot wins) will be sent to each Shareholder (lowest patreon tier) in foil and non foil form, I plan to have the back of each card to be a sudo business card, and have the artist’s social media on it as well (for their tokens). If an artist wins I have a few different plans on what to offer as a prize, and have been working on having a few different ways of entering, from the artist owns 100% of their art and I can not sell it on shopify, to I own half usage, they own half usage, as well as half of every sale, not sure if it will be net or gross, need more research on that. Now what I am struggling with is how to vote. I am thinking that until I get a decent amount of patrons I may use Google Form for voting, or something along those lines. Once there is enough patrons (if I’m ever that blessed), I will move the voting there, and it will become a more secured way to stop bot accounts in voting, not that I honestly expect that to be an issue. Mostly I have been wracking my brain on how to give those who support me that way, to have extra benefits. I will keep doing the Google Form for a public vote, and I am curious on what I will do when the two forms of voting have different winners.

One of the cool things I have found over the internet was an AI generated cube, so in time, I plan to make a cube out of cards created by not just the Bot, but Artists. As Beat the Bot grows, I plan to have multiple challenges a month, one of them being card design, one such prompt for a month may be, “Create a new card type”, “Create a 9 cost mono colored spell”, or even “Create a new blue/black planeswalker, with 2 activated abilities, as well as a static ability”. Part of entering this one is selling the cards on shopify, but allowing the usage to be put into a cube, for us to sell (as it stands the cube will be one of the few things not split between me and the artist since I plan to keep the price point low, so many people can get it if they want). In my research, if I’m not mistaken, I can set up a way for some one to buy it from shopify and have MPC, print it and ship it directly to the player, with me only getting maybe 5 or 10 dollars per cube (splitting it would not be worth doing it)

Now this is my concept but I need a lot more refining, as well as discussing this concept with more friends before I even attempt to finalize it. If you made it this far, please leave a comment of your thoughts, all forms of constructive criticism is welcome, as well as any of your thoughts, even if you honestly do not like this idea. The joy of the development process for me is seeing what others think. Normally I’m in the minority of liking my ideas.

Thank you for your time and understanding
